Pediatric Emergency Medicine

Beaumont is consistently rated as one of the premier hospitals in the country, exemplary in clinical care and academic research. It is located in Royal Oak, Michigan just outside of Detroit. Beaumont Children's, within the larger hospital, consists of a 40 bed pediatric floor, 10 bed PICU and 40 bed NICU. We accept pediatric trained residents into a 3-year training program and emergency trained residents into a 2-year training program.

Ultrasound Fellowship

The Emergency Department at Royal Oak Beaumont is a state of the art facility with state of the art ultrasound equipment. There are 12 newly purchased ultrasound machines with specialty equipment for vascular access/nerve blocks, pediatric specific transducers, and an ultra-portable hand-held device.

Geriatric Fellowship

The geriatric fellowship is a one or two year program provided through the emergency medicine department. If you are looking for an exciting and forward thinking fellowship program while working with a diverse population and gaining valuable experience in geriatric emergency medicine, please contact us. This fellowship is intended for board eligible or board certified emergency medicine physicians.
